We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team partly on-site in Budapest. Our customers build a data platform and organizational structures that will benefit businesses and organizations.
As a Data Architect, you will support a new program of digital change which includes the introduction of new SaaS applications and a new enterprise Integration Platform (middleware) into the company’s IT landscape.
What you bring along:
- 5+ years of experience in the Data field;
- Understanding of Data Mesh principle;
- Has a proof experience in building Data Platform with proper Data Governance;
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric’s unified analytics platform;
- Expertise with ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and other Azure data-related services;
- Proficiency in Azure Integration Services products, including Azure Databricks and Data Factory;
- Competent in Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hub, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics for data streaming and event processing;
- Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages;
- Experience in working closely with clients to understand business challenges and needs;
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail;
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
This is your mission:
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to organize, represent, and store data effectively;
- Implement data governance practice following the data mesh principle and utilizing Azure Purview to have Data Lineage, Data Catalog, etc.;
- Build Lakehouse on Microsoft Fabric or Databricks;
- Analyze business needs, design and implement data-driven solutions;
- Design and implement data models, adhering to development guidelines and best practices;
- Transform customer requirements into development tasks;
- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide data solutions, and effectively communicate insights or findings derived from Data;
- Act as a customer-facing consultant responsible for eliciting customer requirements, translating them into technical architecture, and presenting your decisions and proposals to customers;
- Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
